Damon Petraglia has over 15 years of experience in the information security field. Damon began their career in 2004 as a Special Investigator for US Investigation Services. In 2005, they moved to Janus Associates as Director of Forensics. From 2010 to 2016, they held various positions, including Director of Forensic and Information Security Services at Chartstone Consulting and Practitioner in Residence and Director of the University of New Haven Cyber Crime Center. In 2016, they became the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at HealthFleet, where they were responsible for all aspects of information security operations and compliance. In 2017, they moved to Restore Health, a subsidiary of HealthFleet, and continued in the same role.

Damon Petraglia's education history includes a Master's degree in Forensic Computer Investigation from the University of New Haven, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. Prior to this, they attended Central Connecticut State University between 1993 and 1995, and Salve Regina University between 1989 and 1993. Damon also holds several certifications, including Certified Cyber Investigations Expert (CCIE) from McAfee Inst, Certified Cyber Threat Forensic Investigator (CTFI) from McAfee Inst, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA, EnCase Computer Forensics Training from EnCase- Guidance Software, Expert Witness - Digital Forensic Investigation from Superior Court Stamford CT, and Licensed Investigator 2010- 2023 from the State of Connecticut.
