Jose Almaguer

Jose Almaguer is a Software Engineering Senior Advisor at Cigna since September 2018. Previously, as a Machine Learning Scientist at WeQ Global, Jose developed an automated system for delivering personalized mobile advertisements and created a novel online machine learning algorithm. At Rovi Corporation, Jose served as an Associate Data Scientist, where contributions included developing methods using Bayesian statistics and optimizing promotional campaigns for television networks. Jose also gained valuable skills as a Data Science Intern and Data Incubator Fellow, focusing on key data science tools and methodologies. Jose's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Physics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Oberlin College.
