Jess Sargus

Jess Sargus has extensive experience in the legal field, with a variety of roles at different companies. Jess'smost recent position was as the Chief Legal Officer at Zinda Law Group, PLLC starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Jellysmack as the Head of Business Affairs and later as the Vice President of Legal, where they led all legal functions globally and helped the company achieve unicorn status. Before Jellysmack, they were a Counsel at Marvel Studios. Jess also has experience as a Senior Attorney at Parker Waichman LLP, where they focused on mass torts and class action litigation, and as Counsel at Banjo, a start-up SaaS technology company. Jess co-founded and led a sports agency and training center for combat athletes called The Brazen Sports Agency, and earlier in their career, they worked as an Attorney at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, where they specialized in litigation and business counseling for Fortune 100 and 500 clients. Throughout their career, Jess has shown expertise in legal operations, contract negotiation, risk management, and strategic counseling.

Jess Sargus holds a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Prior to that, they completed their B.A., magna cum laude, in Psychology and Political Science at Williams College. Jess was also the Valedictorian of Skaneateles High School. In terms of additional certifications, Jess has obtained bar admissions and registrations from the State Bar of Texas in 2022, the New York State Unified Court System in 2016, and The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 2002.
