David Sandler

David Sandler currently serves as General Counsel at Zinnia since April 2024. Previously, David held the position of General Counsel and Head of People at Policygenius Inc. from July 2019 to April 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing the legal and people teams and serving as Board Secretary. David's legal expertise was further refined during tenure as Head of Legal & Compliance at Policygenius, the first in-house lawyer tasked with establishing the legal and compliance functions. Prior experience includes positions at Debevoise & Plimpton as an Associate focusing on internal investigations and commercial litigation, as well as Associate Counsel at the White House, where legal compliance and policy advisement were key duties. David's early career involved litigation and compliance at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and work as an Analyst at Belden Russonello Strategists. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a BA in Ethics Politics & Economics from Yale University.
