Laura Fazio

Laura Fazio has extensive experience in design roles, primarily focused on product and user experience design. Laura is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Zip Co since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Designer at Koala from November 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Zip Co and Koala, Laura was a Product Designer at KAYAK from January 2019 to November 2020. Laura also worked as a User Experience Designer at HotelsCombined.com from May 2017 to December 2018, where they were responsible for designing end-to-end experiences for their affiliate portal and desktop/mobile web platforms. Laura gathered quantitative and qualitative data to drive design solutions and implemented designs using tools like Sketch and Invision.

Laura's previous experience includes working as a UX Designer and Lead of Design Guild at MindArc Digital Agency Sydney from January 2016 to May 2017. Laura also worked as a Digital Designer at MindArc from February 2014 to January 2016. Before that, they freelanced as a Graphic Designer at C3 Church Sydney from January 2011 to January 2014.

Laura's early career includes roles as a Digital Designer at Ranier Design Group from November 2011 to May 2013, and as a Digital Designer at Collette Dinnigan Pty Ltd from January 2010 to September 2011.

Laura Fazio's education history begins in 2005 when they attended the University of Technology Sydney. Laura pursued a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles and graduated in 2008. Following this, they enrolled at Billy Blue College of Design from 2011 to 2012, focusing on design. In 2016, Laura attended General Assembly Australia and received a Certificate in User Experience Design.
