Pankaj Shyani (Pan)

Pankaj (Pan) Shyani began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Pinestar Technology Inc in 2008. Pankaj (Pan) worked on implementing features, developing Rest APIs, and implementing architecture for separating UI logic from business logic. In 2011, they joined ec² Software Solutions as a Software Engineer and later became a Senior Software Engineer. Pankaj (Pan) worked on designing new services, developing microservices, and migrating the source control system to Git. In 2018, they were promoted to Principal Software Engineer, where they managed teams, assisted in developing architectural designs, and took on the responsibility of planning and executing complex technical projects. In 2021, they joined Capsule as a Staff Software Engineer, where they managed multiple teams, performed project planning, and designed and developed microservices. Currently, Pankaj is a Senior Software Engineer at Zip Co, starting in 2022.

Pankaj (Pan) Shyani holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from New York University, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from D. Y. Patil Pratishthans D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Pune, during the period of 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Pankaj has pursued various certifications.
