Soumya Subba

Soumya Subba began their work experience as a Summer Research Student at The University of Auckland in November 2015. Soumya then worked as a Culture Editor at What's Good from January 2015 to November 2016, where they led a team and conducted tasks such as event coordination and stakeholder management. After that, from November 2016 to June 2019, Soumya worked as a Transportation Engineer at Beca, contributing insight and economic analyses to major business cases. From July 2019 to October 2021, they worked at NAB as a Senior Analyst of Credit Portfolio Management, utilizing data analytics and credit risk strategies to support the implementation of credit strategies in the retail domain. At Commonwealth Bank, Soumya served as a Senior Associate of Quantitative Analysis from November 2021 to October 2022. Currently, they are a Data Scientist at Zip Co, starting in October 2022.

From 2013 to 2016, Soumya Subba pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Engineering Science at The University of Auckland.
