Nick Heinzmann is an accomplished research leader with extensive experience in the procurement technology and investment research sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Research at Zip since January 2023, Nick collaborates with customers and industry influencers to drive thought leadership and competitive strategies. Prior to this role, Nick held multiple positions at Spend Matters, including Vice President of Research, Senior Analyst, and Senior Editor, where responsibilities included setting strategic research agendas, managing vendor coverage, and overseeing editorial production. Nick began a career in editorial work as an intern at Zacks Investment Research. Nick holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Northwestern University.
