Rajan Gill

Rajan Gill, PhD, is a GNC Engineer at Zipline since November 2020, contributing as a flight controls architect for the P2 autonomous VTOL delivery system and leading research and development efforts for its next generation delivery system. Prior to Zipline, Rajan served as a Graduate Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, focusing on modelling and flight control for VTOL aerial vehicles, and held various research and teaching positions at the University of Waterloo. Rajan also has extensive experience in hardware and software engineering from roles at companies such as ABB, Harris Corporation, and Clearpath Robotics. Holding a PhD in Systems and Controls from ETH Zürich and a Master's degree from the University of Waterloo, Rajan has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in relevant fields.
