Tom Goldstein

Tom Goldstein has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom began their career as a Data Scientist at Washington University School of Medicine from February 2004 to June 2006. Tom then worked as a Research Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories for a brief period in June 2006. Following this, Tom served as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from August 2010 to August 2012. Subsequently, they joined Rice University as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow from August 2012 to July 2013. Tom also worked as an Algorithm and Software Consultant at InView Technology Corporation from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, they began their tenure at the University of Maryland, initially as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science, and later advanced to the position of Associate Professor in May 2019. Tom then joined Facebook as a Research Scientist in May 2019, where they worked until January 2020. Most recently, they joined Zipline as a Research Scientist in March 2021.

Tom Goldstein completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Washington University in St. Louis from 2002 to 2006. Tom then pursued their Master of Science degree in Mathematics at UCLA from 2006 to 2007. Tom further continued their education at UCLA and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics from 2007 to 2010.
