Ashish Yadav

Ashish Yadav has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were a Research Intern at IBM. During this internship, they worked on 'Discovering topics and their behavior from unstructured data'. In 2011, they returned to IBM for another Research Internship. In 2012, they joined Facebook as a Software Engineer on the Business Growth team, where they helped the team grow from 2 engineers to 15+ engineers and drove the Weekly Active Businesses from around 20M to 50M+. Ashish then became an Engineering Manager, where they started and led a full stack team that worked on ensuring that any business content that exists on Facebook platforms is not resulting in any bad or harmful experiences for the users. Ashish was also part of the landing team in Singapore office, helping to build the office culture and recruit engineers and engineering managers. In 2021, Ashish Yadav joined Samagra | Transforming Governance as a Technical Consultant. Most recently, they were appointed as the Director of Engineering at Zippin in 2022.

Ashish Yadav attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a B.Tech (Dual Degree) in Computer Science and Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Lucknow Public School from 2005 to 2007.
