J.D. Ey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. J.D. began their career as an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Washington and Lee University from 2013 to 2015. J.D. then moved on to become an Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Amherst College from 2015 to 2017.
In 2017, J.D. Ey joined Pro Skills Basketball where they held multiple roles and contributed to the growth of the company. J.D. started as the Manager of Operations and gradually progressed to become the Director of Events & Recruiting and the Director of Virtual. During their time at Pro Skills Basketball, they played a key role in expanding the company to over 20 cities in the US and developing a top digital training platform. J.D. also formed partnerships with renowned organizations such as Under Armour, USA Basketball, SC30, and NBPA.
In 2021, J.D. Ey transitioned to Foodbuy USA, where they initially served as a Senior Account Manager. In this role, they focused on driving strategic growth within national accounts in the gaming industry. Later on, they took on the position of Strategic Project Manager, showcasing their expertise in managing and implementing strategic projects. J.D. remained with Foodbuy USA until 2023.
Most recently, J.D. Ey joined Zippin in 2023, where they currently serve in an Account Management role.
J.D. Ey completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued further education at the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, from 2015 to 2017, earning a Master of Science degree in Sport Management.
