Avi Golan

Avi Golan is the VP, Engineering & GM, ZipRecruiter - Israel at ZipRecruiter. Avi has also served as the VP R&D at AreaOne Ltd and the R&D Director at both Enghouse Interactive and CosmoCom.

Golan has over 18 years of experience in the software industry. Avi specializes in developing and managing global R&D organizations, introducing development methodologies and new technologies, and releasing top quality software products on schedule. Avi has led the development of sophisticated communication platforms based on Microsoft technologies for the Contact Center world – Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange and ActiveDirectory, mostly in C++/C#. utilizing complex VoIP solution (SIP & H.323).

At ZipRecruiter, Golan is responsible for leading the engineering team and overall product development. Avi has overseen the development of a SaaS platform for Facebook advertising and a Demand Side Platform (DSP) for mobile advertising, utilizing big data technologies.

Avi Golan has a BA in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo. Avi also has a MA in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
