Ngoc Tran

Ngoc Tran is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in mobile and augmented reality applications. Currently at Meta since August 2024, Ngoc is focused on developing next-generation products. As an engineering manager at ZipRecruiter since April 2021, Ngoc has successfully led the mobile engineering team in building a notification system that processes approximately 10 million pushes per day. Previous roles include software engineering at Facebook, where Ngoc contributed to the development of augmented reality apps for the Portal, and as an Android software engineer at Pandora, enhancing user experience with advertising products. Ngoc's career also includes experiences at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where web programming efforts improved mobile responsiveness, and at MobiTV, developing a multimedia application for seamless TV access. Ngoc holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
