Jenni Morts (Powell)

Jenni Morts (Powell) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jenni is currently working as the Director Of Engineering at Zipwhip, where they are responsible for pioneering the use of cloud technology to enhance text messaging services. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft for many years, holding various roles including Principal Software Engineering Manager, Senior Development Lead, Development Lead, Solutions Architect, and Senior Software Development Engineer. At Microsoft, they managed global teams and was responsible for various business functions such as enterprise integration platforms, human resources, real-estate, and facilities. Jenni also worked on complex finance IT projects, developing and leading the implementation of large transaction systems.

Jenni Morts (Powell) has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resources and Psychology, from Western Washington University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained two certifications. In March 2015, they became Scrum Master Certified (SMC) through Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in December 2011, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
