Michael Poppler

Michael Poppler has a diverse work experience in sales and business development, with a focus on technology and software companies. Michael started their career at Technical Communications Corporation in 1995, where they served as the Director of International Sales, responsible for worldwide business development and sales of high-security encryption solutions. Michael then joined Converged Access, Inc. in 2005 as the VP of International Sales, where they oversaw worldwide business development and sales of software-based IP QoS traffic management appliances. In 2007, Poppler joined Global IP Solutions, where they served as the Director of International Sales, leading international business development and licensing sales for embedded HD VoIP and video software engines. The company was later acquired by Google in 2011. Poppler then worked as the Director of International Sales & BD (Contract) at Google, supporting customer transitions to the open-source WebRTC initiative. Following this, they joined Blue Sky Accelerators in 2012 as the VP of Global Sales, providing business development and sales services to software start-ups. Poppler's most recent role was at Zixi, where they served as the Director of International Sales, enabling live, broadcast-quality video delivery over the internet.

Michael Poppler has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Computer Information Systems from Drake University. Michael also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management, specializing in Marketing and Finance.
