Lam Hong Chian has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. From 2006-2008, they worked as a Software Engineer at SRM Integration (M) Sdn Bhd, where they designed and developed machine control software and real-time human-machine interfaces. Then, from 2008-2010, they worked at MIMOS Berhad as a Software Engineer, participating in the entire software development life cycle and specializing in image processing and web application projects. Next, from 2010-2013, they worked at Infineon Technologies as a Senior Engineer, being involved in MES application development and support. From 2013-2017, they joined Osram Opto Semiconductors as a Senior Automation Engineer, responsible for driving factory automation improvement projects and managing human resources for daily production systems. Finally, from 2017 until now, they have been working at znt Zentren für Neue Technologien GmbH, first as a Principal Consultant leading a team and delivering factory automation projects, and currently as a Resources and Operation Manager, where they support multi-site resource management, operational planning, and employee engagement.

From 2003 to 2006, Lam Hong Chian pursued a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at the University Tun Hussein Onn.
