Louis Graham

Louis Graham's work experience includes a variety of roles in the fields of data science, behavioral economics, and social development.

Louis is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Zoa, starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Bulb from October 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they focused on encouraging consumer behavioral change to reduce and shift energy usage through data-driven interventions.

Before their role at Bulb, Louis worked at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics from 2017 to 2021. Louis held various positions, including Engagement Director from July 2019 to September 2021, Senior Associate from June 2018 to June 2019, and Associate from March 2017 to June 2018. Louis served as the Treasurer and a board member of the Universities Together Empowering Development charity from June 2012 to September 2021. In this role, they focused on financial sustainability, accounting practices, and shaping the organization's strategy and policies.

Additionally, Louis worked as a Consultant and Intern at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) from 2016 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Louis worked at Whave Solutions, a Ugandan NGO focused on water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) in developing countries. Louis served as the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Jinja Office Manager from July 2013 to July 2015. In this role, they managed the M&E program, coordinated a team, conducted data analysis, and engaged with project partners.

Louis Graham obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford, which they completed between 2010 and 2013. Louis then pursued a Master's Degree in Economics for Development at the same university from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, Louis has obtained several certifications, including SQL for Data Science, Machine Learning, Framework for Data Collection and Analysis, and Deep Learning Specialization, all from Coursera. The certifications were acquired between 2019 and 2020.
