Laura Drake Assoc. Cipd

Laura Drake Assoc. CIPD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Laura began their career as a PR & Marketing Assistant at Clothier Lacey and Co, where they worked from September 2012 to July 2013. Laura then joined iseepr as an Account Executive, a business-to-business PR agency, from October 2013 to May 2014.

In 2014, Laura joined Tesco and held multiple roles over the years. Laura started as a Graduate Programme participant from September 2014 to April 2015. Following that, they served as a Store Manager/HR Manager from April 2015 to April 2019. During this time, they gained experience in resource program management, partnering with senior HRBPs, managing employer branding strategy, and analyzing data for employer branding purposes. From April 2019 to March 2021, Laura was an HR Manager at Tesco, responsible for marketing content, managing career websites, and implementing a CRM system.

Laura then transitioned to Yapily as a People Operations Business Partner, where they worked from May 2022 to January 2023. In this role, they supported the company's people operations function.

Currently, Laura serves as the Head of People at Zodia Custody, a position they started in April 2023.

Laura Drake Assoc. CIPD completed their Bachelor's degree in English Language at Newcastle University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended St Aidan's and St John Fisher Associated Sixth Form in Harrogate from 2008 to 2010, where they studied A Levels in English Language, English Literature, History, and Maths. In terms of additional certifications, Laura obtained a Level 5 Human Resource Management from CIPD in 2021, a Level 2 Certificate in HR & Employment Law from The CPD Certification Service in 2021, and also completed The Change Management Course from e-Courses4you in the same year.
