Belén Agüeras Angulo

Belén Agüeras Angulo has a diverse work experience starting from freelance work as a teacher, where they taught video editing using Adobe Premiere. Belén then worked as a web designer and developer at eTour srl, where they led the design and development of various websites. Belén continued their freelance work as a front-end developer and consultant, focusing on website design and development using Wordpress.

Belén then joined Sablono as a Senior Frontend Engineer, contributing to the development of their SaaS platform using AngularJS and SAP HANA. Belén also worked in a cross-functional Agile team, implementing continuous delivery and a Material Design approach for UI and UX.

After that, Belén joined Daimler Fleetboard GmbH as a Software Engineer, specializing in front-end development and utilizing Angular, Redux, and Typescript. Belén also collaborated with designers to create and maintain a living style guide.

Following their time at Daimler, Belén joined Klarna as an Associate Engineering Manager. Belén started leading their own team and was responsible for technical decisions, product quality, and compliance. Belén also represented engineering in product and design discussions. Belén was later promoted to Engineering Manager.

Currently, Belén is employed as an Engineering Manager at ZOE, where they oversee the technical output and business outcomes of their team.

Belén Agüeras Angulo pursued their higher education from 2004 to 2010 at Universidad de Zaragoza, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Following this, from 2010 to 2011, they attended Università di Trento to work on their Master Thesis. The focus of their thesis was centered around the utilization of crowdsourcing for transcription tasks.
