David Meagher

David Meagher is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and innovation within the medical and animal health sectors. Currently serving as Director of R&D Global Biodevices Software and Innovation at Zoetis Inc. since January 2020, David leads a team focused on the development of automated vaccination systems and AI-based solutions for biodevices. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineering Manager at TransEnterix, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing global software development for the Senhance surgical robot, and Senior Software Engineer at Becton Dickinson, contributing to embedded software for medical diagnostics. David also has experience as a Hedge Fund Manager at Meagher Capital Management and has held technical positions at RWD Technologies and IBM. David holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
