Mike ONeal has a long and varied work experience. Mike began their career in 1988 as a Member of Technical Staff at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they led the design team for the Mars Pathfinder mission and was the mechanical systems integration engineer for the project. In 1996, they moved to Digital Domain as a CG Supervisor, where they worked on high-end feature films and location-based themed entertainment. In 2001, they joined Rhythm & Hues as a Visual Effects Supervisor and Digital Supervisor, where they led teams to create visual effects for feature films and managed the entire production pipeline for a show. In 2014, they took a hiatus from the insanity to become a Stay at Home Dad, before joining DreamWorks Animation as a Product Owner, Workflow Solutions Architect, and Simulation Tool Lead. In 2016, they moved to DWA NOVA as a Product Owner/Workflow Architect, and in 2017 they became the Director of Product at Zoic Labs.
Mike ONeal attended Stanford University from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Master's degree in Aero Astro.
