Stephen Kimea has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Stephen started their career in 2006 as a Distribution Channel Manager at Celtel & Zain, where they were responsible for selling telecommunications products and services and building business relationships. In 2009, they joined Vodacom Tanzania as an MPESA Business Manager, where they performed needs analysis of M-PESA customers and formulated marketing strategies. Stephen then moved to airtel in 2011 as an M-Commerce Manager, where they provided professional input and advice on developing strategies and managing product launches. In 2015, they joined Airtel Tanzania as a Protect Manager, overseeing MFS Cards and Micro payments. Finally, in 2016, they joined Off.Grid:Electric as the Regional Business Manager and later became the Deputy Head of Sales for Tanzania.

Stephen Kimea began their education journey in 2003 when they enrolled at UDSM to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce. Stephen successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2006.
