Zvirevo Chisadza has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy sector. Zvirevo started their career as a Technical & Presales Intern at Unified Africa Technologies in 2013. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Samansco, where they gained skills in designing and installing solar street lights and implementing low-cost innovations.
In 2017, Chisadza had multiple roles, including being a Renewable Energy Intern at Cologne Institute of Renewable Energy, a Researcher on Energy and Climate Change at Oxfam GB, and a Contributor at Africans Building Africa, a media organization promoting African entrepreneurship.
In 2018, they worked as a Researcher on Organic Solar Cells at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Zvirevo then joined Bindura University of Science Education in 2019 as a Lecturer in Electronic Engineering. At the same time, they also worked as an Access to Energy Business Development Manager at Schneider Electric until 2021.
Currently, Chisadza is working as a Senior Technical Sales Manager at ZOLA Electric, a California-based energy storage company. In this role, they lead teams in various activities such as lead generation, proposal development, and technical sales. Zvirevo also manages key accounts, establishes partnerships, and oversees the design and implementation of distributed solar mini-grid systems in Africa and Asian countries.
Zvirevo Chisadza completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe. Zvirevo attended NUST from the year 2010 until 2015.
After obtaining their bachelor's degree, Zvirevo pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering from the Pan African University, Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (PAUWES) in Algeria. Zvirevo attended PAUWES from the year 2016 until 2018.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Zvirevo has also obtained various certifications. In 2014, they received the SYSPRO 7 Foundation Certificate from SYSPRO. In 2015, they obtained the Dell SonicWall Technical v3 1213 certification from Dell SonicWALL. Furthermore, in 2016, they acquired the CarbonTRACK installation Certificate from carbonTRACK South Africa and the Advanced Certificate in Solar Energy from Schneider Electric and African Energy.
It is worth noting that Zvirevo holds a certification for their BEng in Electronic Engineering from NUST Zimbabwe. Zvirevo also holds the Dell PowerEdge Server Technical v2 certification. The exact dates for these certifications are unknown.
