Roger Neveau

Roger Neveau has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Roger started their career as a Squad Leader and Platoon Sergeant in the United States Army, where they supervised personnel and trained them in demolitions, weapons, and field tactics. Roger then worked as a Manager at Valero Energy Corporation, where they were responsible for training assistant managers and cashiers, overseeing loss prevention, and generating reports. After that, they served as a Medical Laboratory Technician before transitioning into the IT field. In their role as a Systems Administrator and Tier II Helpdesk Support at LenderLive Inc., they provided IT support, maintained system performance, and strengthened network security measures. At IHS Markit, they worked as a Computer Security Incident Response (CSIRT) Engineer, analyzing vulnerabilities and improving incident response. Roger then joined Discovery Natural Resources LLC as an Information Security Engineering Manager, where they developed network security initiatives and infrastructure tactics. Currently, they work at ZOLL Medical Corporation as an Information Security Engineer and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Lead, addressing client security inquiries, advising leaders on risk management, and leading high-impact projects.

Roger Neveau obtained an Associate degree in Automotive Service Technology from Gogebic Community College in 1984. Roger then pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Laboratory Technician from Intellitec Medical Institute and completed it in 2005. In 2012, Roger earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute. Roger furthered their education at the same institute and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Information Cyber Security in 2014. Roger pursued a Master's degree in Information Security & Assurance, with a specialization in Digital Forensics, from Capella University and graduated in 2016. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Organizational Data Security Fundamentals from Cybrary, Digital Forensics and Security Incident Analysis and Response from Capella University, and ITIL Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice, all in 2016.
