Paula Santolaya Rojas

Paula Santolaya is a Senior Program Officer for Fundación Viento Sur leading the area of Community Development.

Before joining Fundacion Viento Sur Paula had ample experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors. She led and managed multiple projects in rural south Chile. Paula also served a key role for the División de Fiscalización de la Superintendencia de Educación of the Chilean government and was in charge of implementing improvements of the processes and programs oversight of public educational systems.

Also noteworthy is her performance as an advisor to the Undersecretary of Social Evaluation of the Ministry of Social Development during the first government of President Sebastián Piñera. In her role, she oversaw the implementation of planning and negotiation strategies with other ministries, as well as the implementation of public policies related to gender equality.

Paula holds a B.S. in Comercial Engineering from Universidad Diego Portales.
