Ashwin Nair

Ashwin Nair is a Machine Learning Engineer at Zomedica since September 2023, focusing on enhancing deep learning object and pose detection models for motion detection and gait analysis. Concurrently, Ashwin is involved in a research project at Carnegie Mellon University centered on bio-medical computer vision and participating in ongoing research at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram. Additionally, Ashwin collaborates on research projects at MBZUAI and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and previously worked as a freelance writer specializing in technical issue resolution. Notable projects include modeling a self-driving car using reinforcement learning, developing an RDF triple extraction model, and investigating the influence of signal jamming on professional forecasting perceptions. Ashwin is pursuing a BS-MS degree in Data Science at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram, scheduled to complete in 2025.
