Chris Hannon

Chris Hannon is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in both strategic and operational roles within the design industry. Currently serving as Director of Design at Zonar Systems since April 2022, Chris previously held various leadership positions at Smashing Ideas from June 2003 to April 2022, culminating in the role of Head of Design. Throughout this tenure, Chris provided strategic creative leadership, led business development efforts, guided DesignOps, and mentored a robust team of designers. Chris's expertise encompasses collaboration with cross-functional teams, conducting UX research, facilitating Design Thinking workshops, and managing design processes within Agile methodologies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media/Graphic Design from Western Washington University and is actively enhancing skills through certificates in Designing and Building AI Products and Services from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Business Analytics from Harvard Business School Online.
