Mariam al Shamsi

Mariam Al Shamsi currently serves as the Strategy and Governance Advisor at the Zoo & Aquarium Public Institution in Al Ain since November 2022, providing strategic advice to the Director General on business growth and development within the tourism sector. With extensive experience in various strategic roles, including serving as a Board Member of the UAE Karate Federation and Chief Strategy and Organisation Development Officer at the Zoo and Aquarium Public Institution, Mariam has also held significant positions in human resources, project management, and operations at organizations such as the Al Ain Wild Life Park and Resort, Abu Dhabi Family Care Authority, and Dar Zayed for Family Care. Mariam’s educational background includes advanced credentials from IMD and Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on sustainability and public policy, and holds a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai.
