Moataz El Etreby

Moataz El Etreby has held a variety of roles in the business world since 2004. Moataz began their career as an Associate at EFG Hermes in 2004 and later became the Managing Director in 2009. In 2015, they joined the Board of Fawry Banking and Payment Technology Services. In 2016, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Wadi Degla Clubs Company S.A.E. In 2020, they joined the Boards of Kazyon and elmenus. Moataz is currently the Cofounder of Sylndr and the Founder & CEO of Blue Ribbon Egypt.

Moataz El Etreby obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Business from The American University in Cairo between 1998 and 2003. Moataz then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School in 2009. In 2013, they obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the CFA Institute. In 2014 and 2015, they completed the International Directors Program (IDP) in Corporate Governance at INSEAD.
