Laura Knollenberg

Laura Knollenberg has a strong work experience in the field of event management and fundraising. Laura worked at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee as an Associate Director Events and then as a Senior Special Events Manager, where they managed and executed a $1,000,000 fundraising plan that included seven major events. Laura'sresponsibilities included budgeting, planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating all events, managing staff and interns, serving as a staff advisor to volunteer boards and committees, creating marketing plans, and writing proposals for sponsorship and donor development. Prior to that, they worked at the American Cancer Society as an Income Development Director, where they managed and executed the fundraising plan for Southeastern Wisconsin, and as a Unit Director, where they managed staff, supervised volunteer boards and committees, and organized over 15 annual special events. Laura also worked as a Field Representative at the American Cancer Society.

Laura Knollenberg attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Consumer Science Journalism.
