Elie Matta

Elie Matta currently serves as the Commercial Director and Head of South Europe for zooplus, overseeing operations in Italy, Spain, and Portugal since December 2023. Prior to this role, Elie held the position of Product Lead at The Landbanking Group from February 2023 to December 2023, where responsibilities included building the landler.io platform and launching its first MVP with initial customer onboarding. Elie has extensive experience at trivago from August 2017 to February 2023, where positions included General Manager of New B2B Business and Head of Product for Homes & Apartments, as well as roles in corporate strategy and investor relations. Earlier experience at J.P. Morgan spanned from September 2009 to July 2017, focusing on investment banking in Internet and Digital Media, EMEA Telecoms, Media and Tech, and EMEA coverage. Elie Matta holds a Master of Science in Management with a focus on International Business from HEC Paris, an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
