Rahul Sawant

Rahul Sawant is a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in thermal systems, currently employed at Zoox since September 2018, where roles have included Design Release Engineer for HVAC, Thermals, and Advanced Hardware. Prior experience includes a mechanical engineering internship at Tesla in 2018, and a product design engineer position at Hyperloop UC, focusing on fault tolerance analysis and component design. At Mahle Behr India, from 2013 to 2016, Rahul contributed to HVAC system design, achieving significant cost reductions and winning multiple 'Employee of the Quarter' and 'Team of the Quarter' awards.
