Vittorio Verniani

Vittorio Verniani is a seasoned expert in firmware and software engineering with extensive experience in autonomous vehicle development. Currently serving as Senior Firmware Manager at Zoox since March 2020, Vittorio previously worked at Karma Automotive from December 2014 to March 2020 as Software Engineering Manager, where the focus was on in-house development of key automotive systems. Prior roles included Senior Software Engineer at Dematic Mobile Automation, Embedded Software Engineer at Airware, and various positions at Dematic, where Vittorio contributed to the development of embedded firmware and traffic control software for autonomous guided vehicles. With an academic background from ITIS Odone Belluzzi in Bologna, Vittorio has demonstrated leadership in designing AGV solutions and navigating complex software environments across multiple companies since 1985.
