Paulien van Hessen

Paulien van Hessen is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving on the Raad van Bestuur at Stichting Amsterdamse Gezondheidscentra since January 2015 and as a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Zorgcentra Meerlanden since December 2018, Paulien also holds the position of secretary for the PvdA's kerngroep Netwerk Zorg. Additional roles include chairing the board of Vrijzinnige Geloofsgemeenschap Hilversum at De Kapel Hilversum since July 2020 and providing advisory services at Strategie & Zorg since November 2011. Formerly, Paulien chaired the Raad van Toezicht at STBN until July 2022 and served on the Raad van Commissarissen at Mediis until July 2020, contributing to healthcare delivery initiatives. Earlier involvement includes membership in the Regiegroep of the Sustainable HealthCare Lab from June 2012 to December 2019 and serving on the Raad van Toezicht at Kenniscentrum Ketenzorg Chronische Ziekten until July 2018. Paulien's background includes a degree in medicine from Utrecht University and specialization in public health from NIPG-TNO.
