Ruwan Dissanayake

Ruwan Dissanayake began their career in 2005 as a Trainee Software Engineer at Excel Technology Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. In 2006, they joined Virtusa as a Software Engineer and worked on the implementation of a repository management system. In 2008, they moved to DirectFN as an Associate Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer, working on two projects, a widget based web trading platform and an online product subscription system & Administration web portal. In 2009, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at National Technology Group. From 2011-2014, they worked at IHiS (Integrated Health Information Systems) as a Senior Software Consultant and at Entrust & Title as a Principal Engineer. Since 2019, they have been working as a Software Architect at ZorroSign, Inc.

Ruwan Dissanayake attended the University of Ruhuna from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachalor of Science of Engineering in Electrical and Information Engineering. Ruwan is currently enrolled in MongoDB University, where they are expected to graduate in 2022.
