Oluwapelumi Akanbi

Oluwapelumi Gabriel brings over 3 years of experience in extension services and project management skills in the course of his career. He has had opportunities to work with start-ups, Non-Governmental Organizations and other Organizations such as Pula Advisors Ltd, Palm Valley Nigeria Ltd/OCP Africa, Harvest Field and Farm Concern International (FCI) - as an Extension staff, Field Officer, Supervisor, Market and Trade Officer and Coordinator respectively. He was involved in mobilizing small holder farmers, training and creating awareness of sustainability of Agri-Market Service Centers and connecting Farmer groups to available market linkages.

He also served as a volunteer for a Peer Educator Trainer (PET) HIV/AIDS Reproductive Health, Community Development Services. His expertise lies effortlessly in successfully working with the communities, markets and Farmer Organizations helping to improve their skills hence their livelihood. He is driven by the passion to see communities transformed, poverty eradicated and improvement in the lives of the people living in rural/semi-urban areas.

Oluwapelumi Gabriel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, B.Sc in Agriculture (Education), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) Agricultural Education.

Oluwapelumi Gabriel brings in substantial experience in working with rural communities, farmer mobilization, market development and project management.
