Lisa McCann

Lisa McCann is Executive Vice President, Recruiting of Toft Group, based in San Diego, California and working nationally with our most innovative customers at the intersection between high tech and biotech. Lisa brings more than 25 years of search experience to the team, having managed her own, independently held executive search firm as well as leading in-house, corporate recruiting functions for high tech companies. Lisa has extensive experience working with venture-backed, private equity-owned and public companies in the technology space, including healthcare IT. Lisa has successfully executed 500+ executive-level searches throughout her career.

Prior to joining Toft Group, Lisa was the president of a boutique executive search firm placing VP and C Level executives in the US and Europe. She previously served as director of executive search for Sequent Computer Systems, which was acquired by IBM. At Sequent, Lisa was responsible for hiring all executive-level positions reporting to the president and CEO. Earlier in her career, Lisa managed a staffing team at DataGeneral, which was acquired by EMC.
