Joseph Parlier, Ed.D. has extensive work experience in the educational field. From 1995 to 2016, they held various roles in multiple organizations. Joseph began their career as a Teacher for the Monroe County Board of Education in 1995. Joseph then moved to Griffin-Spalding County Board of Education in 2000, where they held the roles of Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, Director of Elementary Education, and Assistant Principal. In 2004, they returned to the Monroe County Board of Education as Principal. In 2007, they were appointed Associate State Superintendent at the Georgia Department of Education. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Marketing Representative for Thinking Maps, Inc. in Georgia and Louisiana. Joseph then joined ViziTech USA as Director of Sales and Professional Development in the Southeast. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been Sr. Director of zSpace Education Solutions at zSpace, Inc. In this role, they support the EVP for Sales and EVP-CMO, designs and supports training and development for sales, services, customer success, and channel partners/agents, and provides thought leadership on the integration of augmented and virtual reality in workforce development, teaching, and learning.
Joseph Parlier, Ed.D. began their educational career in 1991, when they earned a B.S. in Education from Mercer University. Joseph continued their studies at The University of Georgia, where they earned an M.Ed. in Education in 1997. Finally, they completed their Ed.D. in Education Policy and Leadership at the University of Florida in 2014.
