Marcel Chang

Marcel Chang is an experienced marketing and community engagement professional with a strong background in the esports industry. Currently serving as a Regional Coordinator at Uconnect Esports since February 2022, responsibilities include managing communications between Southern California universities and sponsors, as well as organizing marketing campaigns with prominent brands such as HyperX, MSI, and Twitch. As a Discord Moderator for Gen.G since September 2021, Marcel engages with the community, facilitates conversations, and coordinates events. Previously, Marcel held positions as Social Media Manager for UCSD Esports and Triton Gaming, achieving significant growth in follower counts and audience engagement. Additional experience includes a Marketing Internship at Co.Aktion and a Research Assistant role at the Rady School of Management. Marcel holds a degree in International Studies with a focus on International Business and Marketing from UC San Diego.
