Isabel M. currently serves as a Historical Researcher at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on the slaveholding history of Department employees to aid the Office of the Historian. Isabel is also an Incoming Associate and Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group, participates in a Bridge to Consulting Workshop as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at UNC, and holds the role of Treasurer for UNC Women in National Security, managing a $5,000+ budget. Previous experience includes conducting archival research for Honors Carolina, serving as an Art & Wellness Intern at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and contributing as a Staff Editor for Jasūr Magazine and the Journal of Foreign Affairs at Carolina International Relations Association. Isabel's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Peace, War & Defense and Data Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science projected for 2024-2025.
