Selena Rendon

Selena Rendon has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and counseling. Starting in 2018, they worked as a School Counselor Intern/Administrative Intern at Buzz Aldrin Middle School, where they handled administrative tasks and collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team to develop case plans. In 2019, they served as a Social Work Graduate Intern at Covenant House New Jersey, where they facilitated groups focused on interpersonal relationships and provided training assistance to homeless youth. In 2020, they worked as a Crisis Counselor Intern at Bloomfield Public Schools, where they provided behavioral health services to students and facilitated virtual groups. Selena then went on to work as a Mental Health Clinician- Summer Program at Internal Affairs Treatment Group in 2021, followed by roles at Advanced Counseling Solutions of NJ and Center For Family Services as a Bilingual Clinician and Outpatient Clinician, respectively. Currently, Selena is an Integrated Behavioral Health Provider at Zufall Health, starting in 2022.

Selena Rendon's education history is as follows:

From 2019 to 2021, Selena attended Montclair State University and earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. During their time at Montclair State University, they concentrated in Children, Youth and Families.

Prior to their master's program, Selena also attended Montclair State University from 2015 to 2019, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Selena'sfield of study during their undergraduate years was Family Science and Human Development, with a concentration in Family Services.

In addition to their education, Selena has obtained additional certifications. In August 2021, they received the Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) Registration from the Board Of Behavioral Sciences. In July 2021, they acquired the Licensed Social Worker: State of NJ certification from the Board of Social Work Examiners.
