David Swanson

David Swanson is an accomplished contract photographer with experience at Reuters, Bloomberg News, and ZUMA Press since 2019. In addition to freelance work, Swanson has been a staff photographer for the Philadelphia Media Network, contributing to Pulitzer-winning publications like Philly.com, Inquirer, and Daily News since 1986. Swanson specializes in providing visual imagery for both print and online platforms and is noted for expertise in video journalism. Prior internship experience includes positions at Newsday and the Los Angeles Times. Swanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communications from Ohio University and has also pursued education at the University of Trondheim in Norway and Grove City College.
