Claus Diener

Claus Diener has an extensive background in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. Claus has held various technical leadership roles in companies such as Zumtobel Lighting, OSRAM, and dSPACE GmbH. Claus is currently the Vice President Smart Building Solutions at Zumtobel Lighting, where Claus leads global R&D activities for Indoor & Outdoor Luminaires, Lighting Controls, Connectivity & IoT. Prior to this role, Claus served as the CTO Connected Building Applications at OSRAM, overseeing end-to-end internet-of-things applications. Claus's experience includes managing software development teams, introducing agile methodologies, and leading project teams for automotive real-time simulation. Claus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt.
