Sr. Dir, New Product Introduction at Zuora

Amy Ly's work experience begins at the Asian Business Association in 2006, where they had an internship and performed administrative tasks, including managing a membership database and assisting with event planning. Amy then joined University Reader Inc. in 2006 as an E-Commerce Operations Associate.

Amy's next role was at Baker & Taylor, where they started as a Purchasing Coordinator in 2008 and later became a Product Manager for Thunder Bay Press from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Amy joined Innovative Interfaces as a Systems Librarian and later became a Senior Systems Librarian before transitioning to the role of Sales Engineer from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Amy began their tenure at Zuora, starting as an Application Support Engineer and then progressing to various customer success and management roles. Amy became a Customer Advocate from 2016 to 2018, followed by a Team Lead position in the Customer Advisor Program. Amy then worked as a Manager for Zuora Subject Experts, Senior Manager in Customer Success, and finally as a Director of Customer Success from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of New Product Introduction at Zuora, starting in 2022.

Amy Ly received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing from UC San Diego, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, they also obtained a Certificate in Publishing from the University of Denver's Denver Publishing Institute. Later, Amy pursued a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree at San Jose State University from 2008 to 2011.

Additionally, Amy has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became a Zuora-Certified Administrator and a Zuora-Certified Product Catalog Manager. In 2019, they obtained the designation of Zuora-Certified Business Analyst. Moving forward, Amy earned the Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in 2020 and completed the Performance Leadership certification from the same institution in 2022. Most recently, in 2023, they acquired the certifications Billing 101 and Billing 201 from Zuora.
