Anish Yalmuri Shekar

Anish Yalmuri Shekar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Anish started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at NTT DATA, where they worked from July 2012 to July 2015. During this time, they productized an Enterprise application using Java EE and implemented design patterns like Singleton and Factory Pattern.

From January 2016 to May 2017, Anish worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at ITSC UAH. Here, they developed a Data Publication Workflow Portal from scratch using Drupal 8, PHP 7, and Symfony framework. This web app provided a centralized place to manage the entire workflow and automate tedious steps.

Anish then joined Zuora as a Strategic Solution Engineer in July 2017. Anish developed multiple Ruby on Rails apps, including a Lockbox app for processing different file formats from the Bank's Lock Box process and a Pricebook app for dynamic pricing based on custom attributes. Anish worked with Ruby, RoR, S3, REST, Resque, and erb.

In March 2018, Anish transitioned to the role of Software Engineer at Zuora, where they focused on payment gateway integration for various payment method types and implemented features like Account Updater, Advance Fraud detection, and 3D secure. Anish also worked on implementing PSD2 payments support for Europe-based customers.

Anish then advanced to the position of Software Engineer II at Zuora in November 2019. In this role, they designed and developed web services with PKI encryption to communicate with bank payment APIs. Anish also worked on building solutions with Micro-Service architecture, integrating payment methods and IFrames for multiple payment processing services. Additionally, they worked on enhancing Zuora's payment APIs and improving performance through the utilization of gRPC and supporting Micro-Frontend.

Throughout their career, Anish has demonstrated expertise in various technologies such as Java, Spring, Docker, Jenkins, AWS deployment, REST, Springs, Hibernate ORM, Asymmetric cryptography, ProtoBuf, HTTP2, Ruby on Rails, S3, Resque, erb, Drupal 8, Twig, Hooks, PHP 7, and Symfony framework.

Anish Yalmuri Shekar's education history includes obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engg., MYSORE from 2008 to 2012. Within the same period, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General from SJCE. Additionally, Anish obtained the Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle in March 2013.
