Jack Wu

Jack Wu has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry.

Jack currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at Zuora, a role they started in November 2022.

Prior to Zuora, Jack worked at MAKUKU, a start-up, where they served as the Engineering/Product Director, responsible for managing the product, engineering, and data operations of the Pipup product. Jack also partnered with the business team to identify and analyze business opportunities and requirements, provided solutions, and managed various teams involved in project and product management. Jack'srole at MAKUKU lasted from June 2021 to December 2022.

Before MAKUKU, Jack worked at WeWork as an Engineering Manager from September 2019 to June 2021.

Other notable experiences include working at Dovetail as a Customer facing technical consultant and Project Lead from March 2018 to September 2019, serving as the Tech Lead/CTO at Artune Art from December 2017 to March 2018, working as a Sr Ruby on Rail/React Developer at International Volunteer HQ from June 2017 to January 2018, and a role as Sr Ruby on Rails/Javascript Developer at NZX Limited from February 2016 to July 2017. At NZX Limited, Jack led the development of the New Zealand electricity reconciliation portal, data visualization of WITS, and the New Zealand electricity trading/information system.

Jack Wu obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Otago, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.
