William Chan

William Chan has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and web development. William started their career as a Summer Infrastructure Intern at McKesson in 2015, where they gained skills in relational databases, encryption, and data exporting.

In 2016, William worked as a Web Developer at CyberSpark LLC, specializing in web design, app development, and branding. William also worked as a Web Developer at Coldbrew Creative, focusing on web and app design, branding, and online marketing.

William then joined IBM in 2016 as a Software Engineer Intern, where they maintained Customer Relationship Management tools, integrated Rest API, introduced DevOP tools, and provided training and documentation for interns. William also worked as a Software Developer at IBM from 2018 to 2021.

Currently, William is a Software Engineer III at Zuora, where they are a part of the data query team responsible for processing millions of SQL statements from various international enterprises.

Throughout their career, William has developed expertise in programming languages like Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks like DB2, Jenkins, and WordPress. William has demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of software development processes.

William Chan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as "Introducing Maven" and "MySQL Essential Training" from LinkedIn in March 2022, and "Learn Test Driven Development in Java (TDD)" and "The Complete Jenkins Course for Developers and DevOps" from Udemy in July 2017.
