Thiago dos Santos Teixeira

Thiago dos Santos Teixeira has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology sector. Thiago is currently working as the VP of Product and Engineering at Zup Innovation, specifically focused on Banking and Financial Services. Prior to this role, they held the position of VP of Product and Engineering, overseeing Digital Transformation initiatives. Additionally, they served as the Digital Strategy and Delivery Director at the same company.

Before joining Zup Innovation, Thiago worked at CI&T for a significant period. Here, they held various roles such as Head of Engineering and Lean Digital Transformation, Senior Software Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Technical Leader, and Software Engineer. Their tenure at CI&T spanned from 2006 to 2018.

Their career began at Assesso as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development of modules for data cleaning tools using J2EE, Struts, and Oracle IAS. Thiago was also responsible for modeling, analysis, and developing complementary components for internal optimization and production tools.

Prior to Assesso, Thiago started their professional journey at Netwire Consulting as a Software Engineer.

Thiago dos Santos Teixeira completed a Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2023-2024. Thiago earned a Bachelor's degree in Ciências Sociais from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2011-2015 and another Bachelor's degree in Ciência da Computação from the same university in 2007-2010. Thiago also studied Informática at COTUCA from 2002-2004.
