Basar Ozerkayi

Basar Ozerkayi is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership, continuous improvement, and strategic transformation across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Global Head of Source to Pay and Travel Operations at Zurich Insurance since March 2016, Basar is responsible for enhancing operational performance and leading initiatives for a frictionless user experience. Previously, Basar held various leadership roles at Zurich, including Global Head of Core Platform and Global Head of Service Excellence, where strategic planning, financial management, and team development were essential. Basar's track record includes senior positions at Lloyds Banking Group, Siemens, AQA, Lancashire County Council, Carphone Warehouse, and Powergen, where expertise in Lean Six Sigma and Systems Thinking led to substantial improvements in service delivery and customer experience. Basar holds an MBA from The University of Bolton and dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Management and Industrial Engineering.
